Agathe Simon
Agathe Simon is a lawyer registered with the Paris Bar since 2008 and a graduate of Oxford University (Diploma in Legal Studies), of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University (DEA (post-graduate degree) in general private law) and Paris II Panthéon-Assas University (DEA (post-graduate degree) in criminal law).
Prior to founding Mercure Avocats in 2014, she practiced law for 7 years in the Paris office of Dechert.
Agathe specializes in corporate law and mergers & acquisitions, in particular in the health sector, and has extensive experience in negotiation and drafting of complex contractual arrangements (acquisition agreements, sellers’ warranties, shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements…).

François-Maxime Philizot
François-Maxime Philizot is a lawyer registered with the Paris Bar since 2007 and a graduate of Strasbourg University (History Degree, Master’s of Private Law), Paris V Descartes University (DESS (post-graduate degree) in Healthcare Products Law) and Sherbrooke University – Canada (International Law).
Prior to founding Mercure Avocats in 2014, he practiced law for 8 years in the Paris office of Dechert.
François-Maxime specializes in the life sciences field and has strong experience of the regulatory aspects of the health sector and issues concerning pharmaceutical law and the regulations on healthcare products and medical devices.

Christina El Boustani
Christina is an associate at Mercure Avocats.
Before joining the firm in January 2023, Christina completed an internship at the Franco-Spanish business law firm M&B Avocats. She also worked as an in-house counsel at Canon Medical Systems France in the framework of a work-study contract.
Christina holds a double Master's degree in French and Spanish Law from the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the University Complutense de Madrid, as well as a specialized Master's degree in Health Law, with a focus on Health, Food, and Environmental Safety obtained from the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in partnership with AgroParisTech.
Christina is a member of the Paris and Madrid bars since the beginning of 2023.
